The metropolitan area of Bryan-College Station is found in the Brazos Valley region of East Central Texas. As of 2019, just over 86,000 people resided in Bryan, while another 118,000 called College Station home. The Bryan-College Station area is conveniently located in the Texas Triangle, making it easy to get to some of the biggest cities in the state. Houston is only 83 miles southeast, while Austin is about 87 miles west-southwest.
